One of the UK classic scene’s mainstays charges back into the CCW Top 25 with a bullet. There are plenty of survivors, so you can easily pick up anything from a project to a concours-winner. Early MkIs are seeing an upswing in interest, having been sidelined for many years by the Mk2, with their cleaner looks appealing to an increasing number of enthusiasts.

The more upmarket Daimlers continue to be reappraised, too, with the V8 particularly popular thanks to its delectable Edward Turner-designed engine. This may upset some Jaguar fans, but in many ways it’s a more accomplished car than its leaping cat sibling, too.
