JAGUAR XJ-S/XJS
PRICE RANGE £600-16,000
Six-cylinder models are refined but the V12 offers greater refinement than anything from Crewe or Stuttgart. It’s still supreme value for money – even the V12 convertible – although values of fine examples are thrusting ahead. Late six-pot cars (and coupés in particular) offer the best value. A drop, then, but still deservedly in the top ten.
