6 MORRIS MINOR
PRICE RANGE £650-12,000
It’s a climb from number ten to number six for the dear old Moggie. The market’s still pretty friendly towards these charming British saloons, estates and convertibles. And let’s not forget the vans and pick-ups, which continue to make strong money when they cross the block.
Saloons make up most of the cars offered and later models are easily everyday drivers – earlier cars lack the performance needed in modern traffic, but they still make great, usable classics. Travellers add more much boot space and the convertible (beware saloon-based conversions) offers four-seater drop-top motoring.
Plenty of spares and delightfully easy to work on, the Minor absolutely deserves its rise up the rankings.
