The Victor’s 31year stint in the showrooms is a bit like the original run of Doctor Who – we’ve all got our opinion on who played it best, no doubt influenced by whichever one we grew up with. The original has its little flaws (Victors, not William Hartnell), with a reputation for rust and dynamics that are acceptable rather than inspiring, but it’s hard not to be won over by its bold character and sense of style. It’s no wonder the F-type was a sales hit for Vauxhall when it was new.
