Extra preview works well at Brooklands

Historics returned to its traditional Brooklands home after the success of its visit to Ascot Racecourse. Having two preview days is working in Historics’ favour, with plenty of punters on the Thursday, but not too many to make viewing any car difficult.

There was much to like, from the delectable 1949 Lea-Francis and 1965 Morris Mini Cooper S in the marquee, to the lovely, patinated Land Rover 88in County and MGB GT V8 in scruffy, improvable order outside. A great Historics sale and, as always, immensely enjoyable.
