For anyone coveting an early MX-5, here was the answer – Number 239 of 250 British Racing Green models, which were painted solid dark green with a tan leather interior. Mathewsons’ car had covered 23,000 miles in the hands of just two owners, and it had comprehensive service history. It was in marvellous order throughout – a welcome change for an MX-5.
