Anthony and Fenella Whittaker bought their 1955 MercedesBenz 300 SL from the US after a two-year search. Anthony has been desperate to own a 300 SL since he was a teenager.
Louise Dewberry bought her 1957 Austin A35 after seeing them race at the Revival in 2015. Husband Ian thought she was crazy, but has now been comprehensively won over by the baby Austin’s charms.
Nicole Hintner bought this 1970 Porsche 911 Targa for her husband after many years together. They drove nine hours from their home in Kassel, Germany.
Richard Langdon’s 1965 Aston Martin DB5 was once owned by Duran Duran bassist, John Taylor, who wanted to buy the car back. Richard declined after having already sold a previous DB5 and instantly regretting it.
This 1965 MGB GT was delivered to owners Richard and Cathy Askew in boxes 25 years ago. Richard says that their daughters would travel no further than the local supermarket in it during its restoration!
Hans and Anne Rauber travelled up from Switzerland in their 1961 AustinHealey 3000. Hans was inspired to buy it by one of his neighbours who owned a similar car. Living in the Alps means the car stays indoors over winter.
