Wraith returns to old show haunt
The Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith that debuted at the 1956 British International Motor Show was the centre of attention again more than 60 years later in a special Revival exhibit.
The Wraith starred in the March Motor Works, adjacent to the Earls Court Motor Show homage, this year renamed ‘Gordon Galleries’, in honour of the 1950s London shopping arcade.
The extended wheelbase Wraith, bodied by Freestone & Webb and finished in black over red, was displayed within a period Rolls-Royce showroom, recapturing the marque’s glamorous premises in London’s West End.
