Jaguar racing legends reunited
Five Jaguar D-types have reunited to celebrate 60 years since Jaguar’s domination of the Le Mans 24 Hours race in 1957.
The first, second and third finishers – D-types also finished fourth and sixth in the race – met at the new Jaguar Land Rover Classic Works in Ryton-OnDunmore on 31 August.
The cars visited the former home of Jaguar founder, Sir William Lyons, before completing a parade lap at Silverstone circuit and moving on to Williams Advanced Engineering, the present home of Jaguar motor sport.
