The one thing that’s consistent here is that buyers gravitate towards the sonorous V6 models before their four-cylinder siblings and push prices up accordingly. But whichever version you opt for, the GTV hasn’t undergone the sort of price rises that Capris have. In fact, values actually dropped across the range in the early Noughties, but it’s over the past five years that they have really picked up. Buy a good example now and it’ll be roughly double what you’d have paid a decade or so ago.
