1904 Humber 8½hp 2-seater
With an entry for this year’s Brighton Run, this Humber makes a very tempting offering. Its earliest history records it was the 39th car registered on the Isle of Wight. It later took part in 40 Brighton Runs but was ‘retired’ in 1991. Nine years later, and needing restoration, it was sold to an American collector who oversaw its mechanical and cosmetic refurbishment. Now re-commissioned, it thoroughly deserves the chance of stretching its wheels on a run down to the south coast.
