‘T’ for tribute

This 1911 Ford Model T racer was one of the show’s more eye-catching cars. Originally raced as a stripped chassis, it was fitted with a polished brass body in 1913, a replica of which was fitted in 2004 in conjunction with the Salvage Squad TV series. Displayed on the Model T Register of Great Britain stand, the car proved a handy perch for Graeme Hardy to pay tribute to his hero, the Italian racer, Tazio Nuvolari.
