2003 ROVER 75

JON TALLON ‘I’ve only had it for a few weeks but it replaced another 75, which was my daily car for six years. 75s are of a strain of car that have a really special personality, like the Citroën DS and original Saab 900. I think it’s one of the best cars ever to wear the Rover badge, although it’s also a shame it was one of the last. I use mine regularly, carrying my dogs in the back – I tend to keep my Metro for show appearances! I remember the launch of the 75 at the NEC and originally didn’t like the retro thing, but it didn’t take long for me to come to terms with it. It’s definitely a classic car now and I love the little nods to Rover’s heritage. I can’t imagine using anything else.’
