Claire’s first car was a Fiat X1/9 and she’d always wanted to own one of the last built, hence this 1990 example. She almost didn’t make it to the show after the feed to the distributor shorted with the dipstick and started a fire. Thankfully, Claire was able to put the fire out – had she been driving, the fire would have destroyed the car. Claire says: ‘I’ve been to many small classic car events this year but this is like my Wembley cup final!’
