If you’ve just enjoyed checking out Britain’s finest classics at the NEC, then we reckon that you’ll love what some of the continent’s best shows have to offer – and now’s the time to think about getting them into your diary, so you can take advantage of advance flights and Eurostar/ferry deals.

There are plenty of historic motoring events worth making a cross-Channel pilgrimage for in 2018 – the Le Mans Classic, the Nürburgring’s AVD Oldtimer Grand Prix and the Spa Classic particularly spring to mind – but over the next few months there’s a spate of indoor shows well worth visiting if you fancy a petrolhead-themed winter break.
