1972 LAMBORGHINI ESPADA SII

-

One for the determined or the brave – or perhaps a combination of both – but character traits aside, this was a Lamborghini for the proper enthusiast who appreciated the company’s earlier products. This ‘garage find’ was from a time when the Sant Agata factory’s products appealed to the European jet set and not overindulged footballers. The SII was built between 1970 and 1972, and this ‘72 registered right-hand-drive model with warranted 31,607 miles had been parked up since 1986. While it needed full restoration it had been dry-stored, which would have worked in its favour. The beige leather trim appeared to be in good order. A fine alternative to any same-era Aston.
