1 SAAB PROTOTYPE MAKES ITS UK SHOW DEBUT HALL 5

-

One of only three surviving Saab 92 prototypes will be displayed in the UK for the first time in a special stand next to the Saab Owners’ Club. The 92 was Saab’s first production model, with this car one of 20 vehicles built in 1945, before eventually being sold in 1949. Having made its way over to France at some point in the past 20 years, the Saab is now soon to be restored by its new owner, Martin Healey. It’s in usable but tired condition. The prototype will be displayed alongside two other 92s set for restoration – a 1953 and a 1954 example – giving you the last chance to see these iconic Swedes in the rough before they are overhauled.
