MINI MAYFAIR (1982-96)

-

The class of the 1980s has long been thought of as the cheapest route into classic Mini ownership but prices have really picked up over the past decade or so. Values were already on the increase back in 2003, but you could still pick a decent one up for around the £1000 mark. Nowadays you’d be looking for nearer £4000 for the same car, but we’ve seen dealer cars, concours examples and special edition spin-offs like the Mini 30 going for considerably more. It won’t be long before these once-lowly Minis will be entering the rarified world of five figures at auction.
