HISTORY & PAINT

-

Big power, over-exuberance and frequent lack of driving ability led to plenty of Coupés being crashed and repaired back in the day – examine inner wings and floors for tell-tale creases and carry out a history check to unearth any past skulduggery. Fresh paintwork around the low-slung nose isn’t unusual – it’s vulnerable to stone chips – while some colours were prone to fading, which could explain previous re-sprays. Check the condition of mirrors and light units, too.
