TV seven in car parade

A 1934 Austin Seven driven in the TV adaptation of All Creatures Great and Small is to headline a convoy of pre-war vehicles at the Rotary Club of Stokesley’s Classics on Show next Saturday.

Held for the benefit of several children’s’ charities, the Seven is set to appear courtesy of the World of James Herriot, which photographed the car outside its headquarters in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, with All Creatures Great And Small actor, Christopher Timothy, behind the wheel.

Classics on Show organiser, Chris Mayes, said: ‘It’s great [to have the Seven] as an attraction; we hope that it will get more people through the door. This will be our seventh year, and in that time, we’ve raised in excess of £30,000 for good causes.’
