‘You’ll spend a bit or a lot – nothing in between’

-

‘A few small tweaks can make an Evo easier to live with, more frugal and more efficient. Mods can be relatively cheap or you can spend vast sums eking massive power from the engine and then uprating the chassis so it can cope with all of those extra horses. Unfortunately, there isn’t much in between – you spend either a bit or a lot. But before you go too crazy with the changes just remember that standard cars need servicing every 4500 miles and tuned Evos should be fettled even more frequently.’
