FORD ANGLIA 105E (1959-68)

-

The Anglia may not be as well remembered as its more popular Escort replacement but it still managed to touch a huge number of lives back in the ‘60s.

Take a closer look at this brilliant Ford and you’ll discover a small car that it is great fun to drive – high gearing and Kent engines make them feel very lively. There’s a lot of practicality too – having that rear window sloping inwards makes for a big boot for such a small car. They have a very active owners’ club and always get attention at shows.

They’re affordable to buy and refreshingly cheap to run. Add in the fact that they’re very usable and you have yourself a great classic to run dayto-day.
