Massive Jag Jamboree at Shelsley Walsh
Continental turnout helps club beat its aim of 700 XK-engined classics
A record-breaking turnout of more than 700 XK-engined Jaguars – marking 70 years since the XK120’s launch – swamped Shelsley Walsh Hillclimb last weekend.
Organiser, the XK Club, put the bigger-than-expected gathering down not only to the weather but also the large turnout of Jaguar owners from across Europe, including a large contingent of Swiss Jaguar devotees who took part in a parade along the hill climb route.
