1 ALLARD J2/J2X

A COMPETITION CHAMPION AROUND THE WORLD – AND 100% PURE ENJOYMENT

-

The Allard J2 has such a high profile and reputation in the USA because it combines the best of both worlds – a British design with US power. Domestic versions were often powered by the Ford 3.6-litre V8, but export models were shipped sans engine and the most famous power option was the Cadillac 331 unit. The great motoring writer Tom Cahill stated that ‘the torque boys have kicked the teeth out of the high rpm boys consistently in American races. I do feel that the Allard, plus American powerplant, is one of the world’s best.’
