HOW LONG HAVE YOU OWNED IT?

This is a beautiful example of the rarely seen Alfa Romeo 146ti 2.0, which I bought nearly two years ago. The car is finished in red with signature Teledial alloy wheels. I ran a similar 146 before, so you could say I’m hooked. This car has aged remarkably well and is a quirky usable classic. With only 30,000 miles from new, it was almost unique. This particular car is the full specification Ti version and one of the very last produced, boasting its original stereo and paintwork etc. The insurance agreed value is £5k.

HOW MUCH HISTORY?

The car has all of its previous MoTs to verify the low mileage, dealer pack and service booklets, and remarkably still smells as-new inside. It has been regularly serviced from new despite the low mileage, and there are also invoices for some of the work. It had a major service before I bought it, which included belts and tensioners. I’ve managed to track down and speak to all but one previous owner, who all loved it – the last of them was an Alfa collector.

WHAT’S LEFT TO DO ON IT?

The car was in great condition to start with, so has only needed routine servicing since I bought it and the car is garaged overnight. The next service is due shortly and I’ve noticed a slightly noisy clutch release bearing so this will also be attended to.

HAS IT BEEN MODIFIED?

The car has a cat-back Ragazzon exhaust, which sounds much better than the standard exhaust. It also has a K&N cone filter that I was going to remove but the noise has really grown on me!
