THE BATTLE TO BE NAMED BRITAIN’S FINEST CLASSIC
Two Porsches will also be battling for one of the show’s top honours – the Meguiar’s Club Showcase, which will bring together 16 classics which have been cherished by their owners.
Paul Howman’s 993-generation 911 and Ian Ellis’ 356 will be taking part in the competition, which brings together the winners from marque-specific shows held throughout 2018.
Classics in the contest, judged by Wheeler Dealers presenter Mike Brewer, also include Barry Priestman’s Crayford Capri, David Fisher’s Jaguar E-type and Tom Morley’s Austin Allegro.
Lee Masters, show director, says: ‘With such an exceptional line-up, this year’s competition is going to be one of the toughest yet. The Meguiar’s Club Showcase always draws a hugely enthusiastic crowd and we can guarantee they are in for a real treat, thanks to the passion and commitment of the owners.’
