Projects fetch just a few hundred pounds, but restoration isn’t easy because parts availability isn’t great if a lot of bodywork is needed.
Roadworthy cars start at £2000 or so while really good cars are at least double that. With the best cars topping out at just £7000 or so, it’s always worth biding your time for something really good to come on to the market. Be prepared to travel, because very few of these cars change hands each year, mostly through the club, so membership is essential.
