THE COMMUNITY RESPONDS TO THE CLASSIC MOTOR SHOW’S RETURN
No, sorry. I’m avoiding crowds. Loved the show last year and look forward to going the following year.

Myself and many I know won’t bother. Easier to simply go to a sane classic car meet where you feel normal and not part of this odd social distancing society. Nobody I know of, or anyone I know, knows of any person ill or suffering from this. But we won’t go to
a supposedly relaxing enjoyable event feeling like lepers and seeing clones in masks. If this is the new normal, the NEC may as well be closed for good. Nobody I know will visit with these conditions.

I cannot see how even in the ten ways they will change the show this year that it can work and believe that it is irresponsible to organise such an indoor gathering. It is a difficult decision, but
Clarion Events has to have the courage to cancel this show.

It’s difficult to make firm commitments at the moment. We will be attending the show if the regulations change early enough for us to arrange a good presence. We’re keeping a close eye on the situation.
Mark Tickle, PR Manager, TVR Car Club
We’ll look to support the event in whatever way possible.
Adam Sloman, General Manager, MG Car Club
We have a stand booked and confirmed but no stand size details yet. The show is a great shop window for the Rootes Archive so we need to be there to meet our many supporters.
