Ferrari loses GTO case

The Cancellation Division of the European Union Intellectual Protection Office has overturned a 2019 decision made by an Italian court to stop a firm producing 250 GTO replicas. The court found in favour of Ares Design, which Ferrari challenged by over its plans to build 250 GTO recreations; Ferrari, however, retained its intellectual property rights in the case allowing it to have 250 GTO models and toys made.
