What happened to my Opel?

I enjoyed your buying guide on the Opel Manta (1 July) – funnily enough, I have a photo of the car pictured in the paper.

In 1984/5 I owned an Opel Kadett 1200SR Coupé but always dreamed of a Manta because of the exploits of Jimmy McRae in the rally world, but couldn’t ever afford one.

Mind you I wish I still had the Kadett, which is still on the DVLA records. If someone knows of the whereabouts of OAO 968R, then I’d really love to know about it.
