‘IT MEANS MORE OPTIONS FOR BUYERS’

-

‘Our markets editor, Richard Barnett, is right – of course you’d expect an upswing in online bidding if taking part in person is ruled out. However, what the results at Anglia Car Auctions and now South Western Vehicle Auctions also show is that the lockdown hasn’t proven the barrier to buying and selling classics that some cynics thought it would be, and that if you aren’t catering to online bidders even post-lockdown, you’re missing out on a big chunk of that appetite for good deals. That’s a good thing for buyers, who are being offered more information, and more walk-around videos ahead of the sale itself.’
