JAMES SADLIER MANAGING EDITOR InterClassics Brussels Brussels Expo, Place de Belgique, Brussels. 19-21 November

InterClassics makes a huge return after its last outing in 2019. This year the event is celebrating the 75th birthday of Belgian racing legend Jacky Ickx. The six-time Le Mans winner will be at the event itself, back behind the wheel of the Ford GT40 he drove in the 1969 race. Plus, on display will be the 1977 Martini Racing Porsche 935 ‘Baby’ as well as the Porsche 959, an iconic classic in which Jacky finished sixth and second in the 1984 and 1986 Paris-Dakar rallies respectively.

Q CHRIS HOPE FEATURES EDITOR Classic Restoration Show & Spares Market

It’s easy to get distracted by more dynamic events in the summer, but with things settling down, its hard to ignore the fact that a trip to a decent autojumble could really benefit my TR7. As the largest indoor classic car ‘jumble in the UK, this weekend’s sale in Kenilworth seems as good a bet as any.

CHARLIE CALDERWOOD EVENTS EDITOR Quiz Night at the BMM British Motor Museum, Gaydon, Warwickshire CV35 0BJ. 9 November

I wish more museums, including car museums, did evening events, especially in winter, when there’s less to do outside. I’m looking forward to this new quiz night. It’s an original idea: part treasure hunt, part pub quiz, so I’m keen to see how it goes. Practical Classics editor Danny Hopkins is on the questioning team, so they won’t be going easy on us.
