The Miura continues its horse-chasing charge

-

We shouldn’t be too surprised, but all Miuras have now hit value levels that match or exceed their Prancing Horse rivals from the same era. Now the brand itself has matured from ambitious pretender to, for some, the non-conformist’s Ferrari, its star car has become a true icon. Only around 765 Miuras were built, of all types. So even for the most plentiful basic model you are now looking at the thick end of £1m, a surge mirrored by little else in the classic world. Some of that has to do with Lamborghini’s recent commitment to looking after its heritage – but the plain fact is that there just aren’t enough to go round.
