Tasty snippets

I always enjoy the longer articles in Classic

Cars but it’s often the smaller snippets that catch my eye, such as the piece in the Month in Cars section about Michael Byng’s pair of Jaguar Mkis, which brought a smile to my face on a Saturday afternoon.

It took me back to the mid-seventies when I was around seven and my uncle John owned one. At the time they were just old Jaguars and had not acquired classic status. My uncle fancied himself as a dapper young man about town and dressed in a pale blue Crimpolene suit with the obligatory frilly shirt. He looked like an extra from the Jason King TV series.
