Lydden Hill Classic Festival, August 12

It may be best known as a rallycross venue, but this year Lydden Hill celebrates its Sixties and Seventies heritage as a saloon-car racing circuit. Unlike other historic ‘festivals’ with their bit-of-everything approach, the Lydden Hill Classic Festival on August 12 is a neat concentrated burst of classic Touring Car racing, so expect to see plenty of action as Minis, Ford Escorts and Lotus Cortinas battle for supremacy on the compact and challenging circuit.
