Just want to say what a great mag you are producing. I’m an avid dirt bike mud nut, as we all are and don’t just read the passion but ride, restore and live it.

As I reside down under in Western Australia now, I have CDB delivered and look forward to it arriving in the mail. I managed to fly back to blighty in February to see my parents and the trip coincided with the show in Telford (funny that...).

I wanted to pop over and have a chat but it seems you are a popular bloke and was chatting every time I walked past. I did manage to chat to Rod Spry to chew the cud about JBRS, as I’m lucky enough to own an original that I restored over here in Australia; also to pick plenty of new and shiny parts from Motoduro for the PE250 B which is the next project on the bench.

However that’s not why I’m emailing. My son took this photo whilst me and the family were sailing on a catamaran today in Coral Bay. (1200Ks north of Perth) I always grab a selection of CDB mags off the shelf as I have got every copy and read them cover to cover while on holiday. It’s a great read and always inspires me to ride more and work less. The pic of the bike is on the dunes at Coral Bay – as remote a spot as you could wish for. Deep sand and air-cooled bikes don’t mix well so I pinched my son’s XR250.

Dell, I’m in great danger of needing a bigger crash helmet! Seriously, though, glad you enjoy the magazine, we do try our best. I’d like to see pics of the JBR and the PE too and Coral Bay looks a great place to ride. Tim
