of Swindon says: “This is the intrepid Phil Lelliott showing off the performance of his recently fettled Yamaha RD350 in 1976, complete with white-sox-over-boots which were oh-so-fashionable back then. The photo was taken by me on the ‘peri track’ at Brunel University. The track was actually the perimeter road around the university campus but it made the perfect mini racetrack back in the day, with many attempts at the track record, not that the security guys were too impressed! Happy days! Are any of the old Brunel Motorcycle Club still out there reading CMM?
