Keep them coming to keep us honest.

I always enjoy reading my copy of CMM and there’s nothing quite like hearing the satisfying tell-tale flutter of paper, as the latest edition makes its way from my letterbox to the doormat. March’s effort was even better than usual, containing as it did, an article featuring Nick Jeffrey’s fantastic Suzuki GT550. This has always been my favourite two-stroke, and indeed my favourite Suzuki. I owned one back in 1976 (Bought new from Jack Meredith in Shrewsbury). The only criticism I have (and in my capacity as the reigning world hair splitting champion), is that on page 33 at the top of the spec list you have the bike listed as a Honda GT550. I know it’s only a typo, but as my old T-shirt used to say in 1976; “I’d rather eat worms than ride a Honda!” However, the article brought back some great memories. Thanks a million. And if you only ever write about Suzuki triples every month, I for one won’t complain. Honest! Godfrey Hardy Bertie says: “I have severely reprimanded the art editor and my good self about the error! Apologies Godfrey but we’re pleased it didn’t spoil the issue for you.”
