£100 Reboot! Votes in!

-

Bertie, best of luck with your project VFR 750: I think colour scheme number 3 would be ideal & it would give the bike a really racy look. Fred Cowhig

I like the Wayne Rainey but it’s been done before. The NS one is nice but my favourite has to be the VF1000R, number 8! Awesome! Great mag. Mark Bradley

I just received the May issue of CMM through the letterbox, opened it up, grabbed a coffee, settled on the sofa and flicked through the magazine where I landed on page 58 and the VFR 750 ‘Retro Reboot Special’. What can I say other than they all look fabulous. I was truly impressed. I’d personally vote for paint scheme number 8 , in fact I was so inspired by what I saw I decided I’m going to go out and buy a nice 1996/7 VFR 750 and produce my own number 8 version with a ‘smidge’ of VF1000R! Keep up the great work at CMM, it’s a truly inspirational read. Ian Morgan

My personal favourite is option 8: slightly biased in that I don’t like black wheels, so option 8 for me please. George Watson IMHO there is only one option and that is number 8 the VFR1000R themed colours, all the rest have been done

and it has a touch of real class that shows off the bike’s lines really well. Neil Whellens

Rainey rep. Definitely! Maurice Grieves

I would go with number 2 it makes the bike look smaller. Derek Young

Bertie says: “I’ve been knocked out by how many of you sent me your feedback – lots more opinions were emailed and number 8 has been the most popular, albeit some wanted black wheels. And Kar Lee did in fact do such an option. Thanks to everyone who contacted me.”
