Mikael Olsson’s 1986 Honda XR600

Hi from Sweden! I bought your magazine at the airport as I had to have something to flick through during our trip to Croatia. Great magazine! The magazines at home usually only bring the newest models and latest equipment. And the bike-building magazines are 90% Harley builds. When I read the ‘Show us Yours’ pages I just felt that I had to share my build. It is a 1986 Honda XR600, found and bought with cracks and bruises from an earlier, tough life. Frame, rear fork, triple trees and front rim were all cracked and needed welding. This is my result, a ‘street-scrambler’ or something. I really enjoy it, but now it’s time for something new, I give you a hint – GSX1400 Katana, modern bike, old style.
