Triumph Gold Wing?

-

Hi Bertie! I was reading through your GL1800 article on the October edition of CMM with great interest and thought it was an excellent write up on Honda’s premium tourer, however when I got to page 11 and the specification I noted the ’Wing had gone on a serious diet and now weighed in at a mere 170kg, it was also down 1200ccs and minus two cylinders! Clearly your proof reader was having a bad day or hadn’t had their morning coffee when they added the finishing touch to your article! Suggestions on suitable punishments for these miscreants would be a trip around the Yorkshire dales on a Puch Maxi 50 and a Honda Express! Not to worry! It’s still a great read and I love the magazine, keep up the good work. Ian Morgan Bertie says: “Apologies Ian! To err is human and we put the wrong specs box on the document that went to the printers. We’re glad it didn’t spoil your enjoyment of the piece. You’ll be pleased to know that as a punishment, the publisher sent me, the

designer and sub-editor to Hull and back on classic step-thru Hondas…”
