WIN Bridgestone tyres for star letter!
I arrived home on Saturday evening having had a great time at the Stafford Show to find that my November issue of CMM had arrived making a good day better. I put it down to make a coffee so my son Jack picked it up declaring that he liked the look of the cover’s FZ750. He then declared: “If Avon are a sponsor with their name so prominently displayed, why is it wearing Dunlops?” Nice spot Jack! How can Stavros explain that one then, eh? P.S. My very nice and original 1996 FZR600R is wearing Avons but they are now pushing legality… Clive Parkes Bertie says: “Well, it goes like this Clive! Stavros is now what’s called an ‘Avon Ambassador’. All very grand: he doesn’t sell perfume door-to-door but instead helps Avon with events etc. So, he felt duty-bound to put some Avon stickers on the bike even though the bike has sat on Dunlops since the project began! Tell Jack he’s won his dad’s FZR a lovely new set of Bridgestone boots!”
