Will the big bike be out in action throughout the 2018 Endurance series? It will, but until budgets are aligned there’s no firm commitment from Suzuki about anything other than one meeting in particular. Tim said: “It all depends on budgets but we are definitely going to do the Donington round in May. We want to have the same three riders for it again, hopefully getting out with Whit, Steve Parrish and Michael Neeves. “As far as Aragon, Spa etc... that all depends on budgets and these are being sorted out about now, so at the moment we’re not 100% sure.things are tight this year so we’ll have to wait and see.” One way to boost a budget would be to build another motorcycle and offer it for sale as a ‘semi-satellite’ bike. And such a thing is in the pipeline. “We’ve got B and B Motorcycles in Lincoln, they’re pals with Guy and they’re looking at running a separate team next year INTCS colours.that could potentially be a GSX-R750 when the rules open up. So that’s the plan and we will help them and if we go and race together then we will be in the same garage. It’ll be fantastic and they will do the whole season. We’d love to do the whole season too. “Their team will be Guy and Pete. Our plan is that if we can get more races then we’ll have guest riders joining us on a race-by-race situation. “We want to get John on it. John Reynolds, we’ll get him on it somewhere and we would love to have Richard Cooper on the Katana too. He expressed an interest in riding it, he rode it at Jurby onthe Island last summer and was going to do the parade lap on the Monday but it got cancelled because of the weather so he never rode it at thett. “I’ll tell you what, when he was going round Jurby we all looked at each other and we were impressed. He was fast!”
