SPADA LATI2UDE JACKET
We rather like this jacket as it fits very well, keeps us warm and dry but best of all feels like a bargain at £149. The Lati2ude comes with soft CE armour, which we would prefer to be the ‘hard’ armour, but that’s just a preference. It is (after all) Ce-approved and soft armour does mean the comfort of the Lati2ude is top notch. Oh and you even get a back protector, which many jackets leave out and expect you to pay extra for… To keep the jacket usable in all weathers, there’s a removable winter lining and zipped vents in the body and arms for added ventilation in the hot summer weather. We like the fact that it’s not too bulky or too light – it’s a real crossover jacket when it comes to the seasons.
Pockets: you want pockets? You’ve got plenty here, including a whopper of one in the back, but only the inner ones are properly waterproof – don’t make the mistake we did and leave a wallet in the external pocket! One of the Lati2ude users at CMM reckoned the jacket comes up a little on the small side, so try one before you buy, but do factor into it the fact that you can make adjustments at the arms, waist and collar to help you tailor the fit. Being such a bargain for £150, we’ve not found them much cheaper than at a tenner off RRP, but believe us when we say that’s still a flippin’ bargain. www.spadaclothing.co.uk
