Scoop is right!
Hi Scoop, I’ve just read your article in the June issue of CMM and speaking as someone who started biking in the late 70s I would like to concur with you in the old argument about OEM versus aftermarket. When I bought my Z500 the first thing I did was junk the original headlight and buy the ubiquitous Cibie Z-beam and when the original exhaust dissolved into a pile of useless rust coloured dust I replaced it with an Alpha four-into-one: more power, less weight and scared the scrap out of children and old people. If you can make your bike better and safer you’d be stupid not to! Pete Crawford
