Classic Motorcycle Mechanics

super Stafford Show!

-

We all know that events are in a general state of flux at the moment, thanks to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, so here's the latest news ... We can now confirm that April's postponed Carole Nash International Classic Motor Cycle Show - due to go ahead over the weekend of August 15-16 - will now be rolled into our own show in October.

So, that means The 27th Carole Nash Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show will be a ruddy corker! The show will contain not only the very best of our little section of motorcycling (15 years or older, European and Japanese motorcycles), but also the vintage/ older side of motorcycling.

The move comes as Mortons Media Group, which run the shows, have to closely follow the current advice from the UK Government on the coronavirus pandemic. A spokesman said: "The safety and well-being of our visitors, exhibitors, partners, contractors and staff is the most important factor and the key reason for postponing the event once more. The event team has been continually monitoring the latest public health and government guidelines regarding the evolving Covid-19 situation and acting in accordance with their advice."

Dates for the combined 'Super Stafford Show' as we at CMM have decided to call it will remain as Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11. The location will be (as always) the Stafford County Showground; postcode is ST18 OBD. All ticket and trade bookings will be honoured for these new dates.

So what can you expect to see at the SSS (see what we did there?) Well, as well as what will now be an unrivalled mix of motorcycles spanning many decades, we will still have trade and auto-jumbles, the best bike clubs with their own unique stands, the Bon hams Auction, the GP Paddock, the Dirt Bike Experience and The Wall of Death. The guest of honour will be revealed soon; editor Bertie knows and will swap the details for a box of Chardonnay.

Get booked up, it's going to be the best show of the year: www. classicbikeshows.com
