HQ without someone – usually me, if we’re naming names – asking: how can it possibly be XX years since XX album was release?! Queen was the subject of such an exclamation a couple of months ago, as we realised that this year News Of The World celebrates its 40th anniversary. Seriously, how did that happen?!

So this issue, as Queen + Adam Lambert begin their monster US tour, we’re venturing back to the mid70s to take a look at the making of that album, the record that gave the world the stone-cold classics

We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions. We also stick around in the 70s and take you back to 1975 to revisit Led Zeppelin, when they were on top of the world and unstoppable… and then things went terribly awry. We take you behind the scenes to those turbulent times and the making one of Jimmy Page’s favourite Zep albums, Presence.
