TeamRock Radio is back!

Classic Rock, Metal Hammer and Prog mags’ shows return.

TeamRock Radio is in business again, bringing back The Classic Rock Magazine Show, The Metal Hammer Magazine Show and The Prog Magazine Show – plus much more. TeamRock Radio ceased broadcasting last December, when its parent company – who also owned Classic Rock, Metal Hammer and Prog magazine – went into liquidation and those three magazines all ceased publication. But it was part of the portfolio of assets thankfully bought by our current owners, Future Publishing, just a few weeks later, and now the lights have been switched back on, and the faders pushed to 11, under the guidance of Programme Controller Philip Wilding.

“We’ve built the station for the people who’ll actually listen to it. Rock stations in the UK and around the world are lazy and formulaic,” says Editor In Chief Scott Rowley, promising music far beyond the obvious. “TeamRock Radio is for people who really love music.”

The Classic Rock Magazine Show is presented by CR editor, Siân Llewellyn and goes out 5pm UK time on Fridays. Prog editor Jerry Ewing hosts the The Prog Magazine Show every Sunday at 5pm, while Hammer ed Merlin Alderslade gets heavy on The Metal Hammer Magazine Show on Saturdays at 5pm. DL
