Hang On To Yourself
The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars, 1972
ROSS THE BOSS
“I was at Bowie’s show at Radio City Music Hall in New York in 1973 and, being a guitar guy, I was very, very impressed with Mick Ronson. He was such an incredible player. He had a Les Paul through a two-hundred-watt Marshall amplifier and he blew me away. It was The Spiders From Mars, with Trevor Bolder and Woody Woodmansey. That song has everything: the heaviness, the rock’n’roll and the glamour. It’s just awesome.”
