Robert Plant has paid tribute to his long-serving house sound engineer, who has died aged 73. Having worked together from 1981 to 2011, Plant says the loss is “heartbreaking”, adding: “He gave me support and encouragement as I attempted to get back into the game after the dreadful and sad passing of John Bonham.” Cause of death is so far unreported.
